Holy Sh**!!! Gov. Jerry Brown in 1975 champions collective bargaining for the CTA and today, as Admin II, he wants to cut costs by walking back their power!!!!
My head is going to explode.
He grew up?
How is the money collected in dues by unions is tax exempt?
Do they do charity work or something?
Seeing as huge sums are directed to one particular political party, how can they keep such an exemption?
Actually, I clicked on the story with the fervent hope that they, like Chicago teachers, were asking for a 24% raise. Too bad.
CTA doesn't understand that all "high earners" have left the state because the plunderers can't seem to every be sated. They just can't plunder enough. Furthermore, most of the members of the CTA are now the state's "high earners".
