Lucky is right. I have a .357 within' arm's reach, and I'm a light sleeper. I also need glasses. Some rowdy fat-ass pulls that on me and he would be lucky not to die. My (too irregular) training is two at the body mass and one a little higher, reassess threat situation and proceed accordingly. The way I'm setup security-wise guarantees I'm already dead if they can see the gun. Line of sight and angle practically guarantee center mass accuracy on the first two shots. Friends and family never stop by without calling ahead. Everybody knocks, and nobody enters until I open the door. No sane person wants to kill someone, but faced with a choice in a highly confusing situation it is preferable to be the one to continue drawing breath.

This is not an abberation, this is what is now becoming normal policy and procedure of the govt' at all levels- Federal, State, City, County, and local, who have now become what we once used to fight against, due to Obama's radical despotism, and are thus now so openly blatant and audacious in their arrogant thuggish aggression and attitude towards and against the people, that they have now become tyrants, thugs, and gestapo goons, whom neither respect the people, nor fear the people. When the People fear the govt, there is Tyranny, when the govt fears the People, there is Liberty.
Make no mistake about it, this is what apathy, indifference, and complacency by the majority of he Nation's citizenry of voters does when they do not take their responsibilities and obligations as a free people in a free society seriously, it allows this to happen to their Nation.
Maybe they, the majority of the American people, will finally wake up to reality.. But why does it always have to be after the fact, and not before the fact. This is truly the sad nature of a generation that only cares about themselves, their instant gratification attitude in their materialistic world. Thus this is what happens when morality is forsaken for materialism.
