    Wild is right.

I saw him right after takeoff at about 3000 feet or so, drifting off to…..nowhere. He was up for 8 hours or so before he aborted as a thunderstorm got him to reconsider.

Winds had him going due north for quite some time before reversing course and heading east (intended course). Finally due down.

He ended up about 30 miles from where he started after 8 hours in the air.

From your faithful central oregon reporter of nonsense, oregontea.

Are you sure, or was it a drone?

      • Oregontea says:

Come to think on it………maybe.Nah, a drone wouldn't be foolish enough to fly with thunder boomersforecast, it could get hurt. Must have been Kent. He owns a verysuccessful shell station with a small grocery about 4 miles from myhome. His employees wear white uniforms with hats and will check youroil, wash your windshield and call you sir/ maam everytime. He may bea nut, balloonwise, but he can run a very successful business. Kudosto him.

I have to admit, it sounds like great fun ('til somebody get's hurt but, that's always part of the fun, right?)
I'm really not sure doing it over Baghdad will be as much fun, if you know what I mean!

It is a wonder that some drunk didn't call the Department of Homeland In-security.

      I wouldn't have been surprised if J-Nap hadn't scrambled some fighter jets………….
