"Why not just a foolish, pathetic dictator who makes things up as he or she goes along?"

We've already got one of those. Including the "he or she" part.

Glad I keep the keyboard covered while I read the forum…lol…and a good thing I'd finished my coffee…

"But liberals never understand that their ideas are bad. That is why they are liberals. And that is why they get laughed at by all serious people."

Trouble with that is, the liberals have been laughing at us for quite some time now……thankfully, it has slowed a bit since November, 2010. And so, a toast; Here's to the November prospect of taking their insidious liberal laughter away for a very long time……

  3. I'm really looking forward to the day after the election. I might go out for a drive just to see all of the exploded brains here in California.

Actually, overturning Dred Scott comes from the 14th Amendment, not the 13th Amendment.
With the 14th but not the 13th, someone could be both a slave and President, providing of course their owner permitted it.

I think the premise of the article, that leftists are inconsistent is completely wrong.

They are incredibly and predictably consistent:

They believe their way is ALWAYS right.

Laws, rules, protocols, regulations, procedures, etc are all fully amorphous and malleable….they are simply words to be ignored, obfuscated, redefined or (in some cases) presented as absolute truths that must never be deviated from…..

….simply, it depends on which maneuver is the best tool to enact the ideological point of the leftist.

    Consistent to no end.

    Everything is situational.

And, that is partly why socialism always leads to dictatorship: The individual eventually has no way to defend his rights.
