Co-sponsoring Your Success

"Under President Obama, that sense of happiness is a mirage, because everything is a co-production of the state."
No. President Obama's ideology has no effect on my sense of happiness.
It has no effect because I understand that, with or without me…..those roads and bridges would have been made. They would have been designed by well trained engineers. Built by hardworking construction laborers. And paid for by tax revenue raised from whatever percentage of Americans pay taxes.
With or without me.
My contribution to society, beyond paying the requisite tax required to keep Government running and infrastructure usable is not to pay MORE AND MORE AND MORE.
It is to utilize that infrastructure and be successful.
For, what greater atrocity exists than to watch the government collect money earned by others…..and for me to sit idly with my hand out…..expecting a share rather than participating in the opportunity provided?
No.
The way you give back is not to pay more and more and more taxes each time politicians engage policies that don't work.
The way you give back is by trying as hard as you can to put those bridges and roads (and whatever else) to good use.
To do otherwise is the true selfishness.
Obama is right. Someone else built the roads and bridges.
And I thank them…..by using them to build MY dream.
The American Dream.
A dream NO government could ever build. A dream that could ONLY be built by me!
If you and I don't conduct business on those roads…..then who will? And what would have been the point of building them?
Barack Obama is an utter idiot. I for one am a success because I chose to be a success. I decided to be a success, I committed to being a success, and I worked to be a success. I am a success. My success was not because of the Government but in spite of it. I was reading and doing math before entering school and the majority of my education came from my parents on a farm. The Government has given me nothing and my community a small amount. I have given and had confiscated far more than most but thankfully far less than many.
Success is a personal choice and is not a Government Entitlement. The only way Government can assist people to be successful is by shrinking itself radically to allow those who desire success to work hard to achieve it with minimal interference from the Government lackey DRONES.
Well, when you've only been given things and never worked for them yourself (obama), I guess you think everyone who has anything got it the same way.
Obama's (and Warren, et al) words are an attempt to castrate the American middle class…….and simultaneously demonize the upper class.
Dependency is the rational opposite of empowerment.
Perpetuating an ideology which absolves the individual from personal accountability is an overt act of dis-empowerment.
Accountability is empowerment. If you accept responsibility for your choice, and hold yourself (or are held) personally accountable…..you have empowered yourself to action. You have empowered yourself to consider your choice. You have empowered yourself to be successful.
By habitually telling America that nothing is their fault and that success is nothing but happenstance; Obama nullifies the success possible through personal accountability.
No, Mr. President, I AM ACCOUNTABLE FOR MY CHOICES, MY DECISIONS and MY ACTIONS.
I build my success. Or I don't.
I will not let you diminish my responsibility for myself.
I will not let you steal my accountability to myself.
I am beginning to realize, you are less dictator….and more thief.
