      Employ some potheads sometime and see how it works out for you. I had a guy who put the wrong oil filter on a car. He drove it, the filter fell off and he smoked the main bearings. That cost ME $1,000. Or another dummy who forgot to bleed the brakes when he was done and smashed that car and the one behind it. A $2,500 deductible was rather expensive weed that I didn't get to smoke. How about another idiot who came to me at least once a month because he left a tool in a customer's car? I made the phone call twice and then told him to f*ck off. The first two got fired, the other one I spared because he didn't smoke it at work. I do suspect he did a "wake and bake" and may have smoked during lunch at times. At least he never cost me money. I have plenty of other stories about stupid stoners. Don't like the stereotype? Blame your fellow stoners – they're the ones who created it, not us. We just observe their behavior and judge accordingly…

        These %^&$ing stoners are dumber than a rock. Of course they don't see the damage they do to biz, they live in a state of perpetual denial. Like children they think if you didn't see them break or lose stuff, it must not have happened. I think all pot smokers ought to have to be self employed. All the ones I've ever known who tried that, lost their asses. Poetic justice!

        i smoke some herb on occasion………..but only the good stuff. (my buddy grows some dynamite indicas)

        At my shop, if you get hurt on the job, before they'll even think of letting a doctor look at your injury………………(and it doesn't matter if you cut your arm off)………..they drug test you.

        and if your screwing jobs up and scrapping stuff?…………your gone long before you have a chance to get hurt.

          On occasion. Yes, fine. Stoners are the problem. Some people can use pot responsibly, but that isn't a whole lot of them in my experience. I used to smoke pot too, but I decided long ago that it was an impediment to my life. I won't touch the stuff ever again because I know it is toxic. Booze is too, but not nearly as bad.

          IF I ever employ anybody EVER again I will discriminate against people who do drugs.

          Reputation should have kept you off of zero, got you back to +1…

            I didn't touch the stuff for over a decade……….but now, as i said………on occasion.

            it's really not worth the worry…………if i cut my finger at work…………the first thing i think?

            when was the last time i smoked herb?

        People are dumb, lazy and everything else you can think of. That is who they are it
        is not the pot that makes them that way.

        I smoke and I am one of the hardest working people you will ever meet. I have called
        off work 3 times in the last 6 years.

        Maybe you should do a better job of hiring people.

          We will disagree to a point. Pot makes so many of those people worse than they already are. Smoking helps many of them to forget that fact. Deflection doesn't change anything. Stupid stoners cost me many thousands of dollars. Hire better? More proof that you don't have any experience with the labor market. Sometimes a stoned body is better than an empty stall. Sometimes not. Tough call. I changed careers and no longer depend on other people. Not worth it right now.

          The first pothead I gave up on was myself. I saw how it was not only worthless, but detrimental. "Detriment" is equivalent to shit in case that went over your head… Anyway, I stopped smoking that crap and became a better, more focused and responsive person. I like myself far better than I ever did when I was strung out on that crap. Oh, and I was quite functional and productive, just nowhere near my actual potential – in case 'strung out' seemed a tempting entry for a rejoinder.

          Congratulations on managing your disease, I hope you find a cure soon enough that you vote for Mitt Romney instead of Ron Paul…

          You were going to vote for RP, weren't you?
