My girl was over last night and we watched a bunch of rock videos (i typed "orchestral rock videos" into you-tube) with an orchestra accompanying them. We watched videos for about 3 hours………….they were all pretty cool.
I'm definitely not a big "scorpions"fan. But here is "rock you like a hurricane"…………………with the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra.

They've never sounded better. (it helps that i have this logitech speaker system plugged into my laptop).

This morning the House of Representatives voted to extend the current Estate tax code for another year. Without this extension in place by the end of 2012, the death tax will revert to a $1 Million exemption, above which estates will be taxed at a 55 % rate. Under current policy, the exempt amount is $5 Million, after which the remaining amount is taxed at 35%.

Of course, the Senate has yet to move on the matter, but our Representatives can come home during the August recess touting one of their recurring favorite go nowhere campaign issues. Evidently ALL is "right" with the world…

    Drink More TEA!!!

Here in CA, Governor Moonbeam just announced a new program/agency to control all aspects of water in the state, every drop.

Agenda 21 will be CA's death knell. The breadbasket of CA, the central valley which produces 8% of the nations crops will now have to pay even more for their water…..IF they even get any.

They have survived the Delta smelt, now they have to survive a new Marxist agency.

    Stunning to say the least.

Does anyone know ……………………………are shep and adam smith "kissin cousins".

    • Stephen_Brady says:

      Yckkk!

I don't know about that, but I can't get an answer from anyone at FOX about this issue. I'll never forget or forgive Shep wandering around in New Orleans on live television, bad-mouthing the Bush Administration for "inaction", before he had even gotten any hard information on why federal help was delayed.

FOX News, please get rid of Shep, and the "Fair" part of "Fair and Balanced". You are balance in broadcast/cable news. I'm sick of Juan Williams, Bob Beckel, and the newsbabes from the Christian Science Monitor, et al.

      • chopper says:

i gave up Stephen. I no longer watch fox news……………………….at all.

      • ret_cpo says:

I remember that. That is when I realized what a Jerk he was.

As far ad Juan Williams and Bob Beckel, I frequently wish I could reach through the tv and slap the shlt out of them.

However, if they got rid of those two, who would the rest of the Five have to argue with?

        • Stephen_Brady says:

There is more than enough "dviersity" in the conservative movement to have lively debates between establishment, libertarian, and Tea Party types. We don't need Williams and Beckel spouting the DEM talking points.

No… I got nothing… Other than I got something wrong on my comment on sequestration in this morning's Open Forum. It starts on January 2nd I still suggest everybody take a gander at that comment and then go to
