De-Bushing Romney

Interesting piece, but one fact is undeniable. Romney's base supporters are the check-pants country-club old guard Republican elite. As long as they are shoveling the cash to his campaign, he's obligated to them to steer toward their more moderate views.
We really just need Mitt to WIN! We can duke out the agenda behind the scenes, issue by issue, once the ball is in our hands.
Drink Mo TEA!!!
You're wrong Goldberg. Romney does not have to talk about Bush's spending and the election is not shaping up to be about someone not on the ballot. The race is shaping up to be about Obama's record. No matter how much crap they make up about Romney, it is not going to stick. Obama has to run on his record and that is losing message.
Romney will win and not because the voters love him. He will win because he is the clear choice between the two on the ballot.
The most important election in November is the congressional races. The tea party minded folks are taking over the base of the republican party. This election is going make the congress much more representative of the people.
