      6% NEEDED Govt assistance.
      We had manufacturing.
      Respect and morality..
      Communism and Socialism were polar opposite to American values. They were our enemies.
      Sure not all of the Fifties were perfect but it would be a start!

        America was at the height of her power; her zenith in the fifties, and into the sixties.

        Personally, I think we should go back a tad further.

            Cool… I'll bite. And no arguments about how "there always was income tax." That's hooey. They had to pass the 16th Amendment (1913) to get "income" tax "constitutional." My daddy was born in 1907… I don't mind if I get the same America my daddy was born into.

              Yep taxing production enables a greedy government, it does not provide prosperity.

              I have heard the lib shills speak of raisng taxes on the rich will stimulate the economy. Just how so? Explain to me the theory. It is just like Rush said… income taxes feeds the slush fund.

    Personally, I want to see the gloves come off early.

    I want to see a bare knuckle brawl for the heart and soul of America, and I want to see blood on the floor.

    It will be up to the Obama Camp to set the tone for this, as to whether that metaphor is figurative or literal.
