I'm thinking about it. At the moment things are looking positive. The OWS appear to be irrelevant, FLOTUS' trip to Spain, in 2010, cost us $500K, oblunder looks like an idiot for making a decision Jimmy probably would have done in a heartbeat and evil is being exposed. Things look good today for taking the United States of America back from a fraud. I am grateful for today. Tomorrow might be different. Again, I am grateful for today. Thank you, Gentleman.

  2. Oregontea says:

    Ahhh, May day.

    The obama INFEST party begins.

Its all or nothing for obama now, he has put all his chips on the table. All he has in his hand is a pair of deuces.

    • chopper says:

      a pair of dueces……….with a three kicker.

      • Oregontea says:

And no poker face. We all know his hand is weak. When he loses he will scream and stomp his feet and tear up the cards.

    • Billyb9 says:

If he can get these people to get really wild he can proclaim a state of emergancy and use martial law until after the elections….

      • Oregontea says:

He may try, but, he will fail there as well. We are not going to standfor it. A manufactured crisis will backfire.

  3. Billyb9 says:

"This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility," Obama said

"I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir," said Medvedev

Why does this conversation not scare EVERY warm blooded American into acknowledging what this man is all about? We can't hand him the opportunity to sell the country out from under us! Alaska no doubt will be first- Russia would like that- lots of oil there…

    • chopper says:

      mornin' Billy!

He's going to have SO MUCH flexibility….he'll be able to bend over backwards, and kiss his own azz good-bye.

      no……..really!

      • Billyb9 says:

That would be double- no- QUADRIPLE jointed! When he leaves office he's going to have to join the circus…

    • Red47 says:

Billy, Billy. Easy now. Thye were only discussing his difficulty scheduling a tee time.

  4. Billyb9 says:

Finally finished "Around the World in 80 Days". Took me 86 days.

  5. chopper says:

    On May 1,
    - 1707, the Kingdom of Great Britain was created, as a treaty that merged England and Scotland took effect.
    - 1898, Commodore George Dewey gave the command "You may fire when you are ready, Gridley," as an American naval force destroyed a Spanish fleet in Manila Bay during the Spanish-American War.
    - 1945, the day after Adolf Hitler's suicide, Grand Adm. Karl Dönitz, Nazi Germany's new president, became sole leader of the Third Reich with the suicide of Hitler's propaganda minister, Chancellor Josef Goebbels.
    - 1948, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) was proclaimed.
    - 1960, the Soviet Union shot down an American U-2 reconnaissance plane near Sverdlovsk and captured its pilot, Francis Gary Powers.
    - 1962, the first Target discount store opened, in Roseville, Minn.
    - 1971, Amtrak — which combined the operations of 18 intercity passenger railroads — went into service.
1992 – On the third day of the Los Angeles riots resulting from the Rodney King beating trial. King appeared in public to appeal for calm, he asked, "Can we all get along?"
-1998 – Arrow Air was fined $5 million for using spare parts that lacked federal approval in the U.S.
-1999 – On Mount Everest, a group of U.S. mountain climbers discovered the body of George Mallory. Mallory had died in June of 1924 while trying to become the first person to reach the summit of Everest. At the time of the discovery it was unclear whether or not Mallory had actually reached the summit.
    – 2010, Pakistan-born U.S. citizen Faisal Shahzad failed in an attempt to set off a homemade bomb in a sport utility vehicle parked in New York's Times Square. (He was later sentenced to life in prison.)
-2011, Seal Team # 6 put a cap in Osama bin Ladens azz outside of Abbottobad Pakistan, where he was being harbored by the Pakistani authorities. They were led by schpeal team leader B. Hussein Maobama.

    • Stephen_Brady says:

"- 1945, the day after Adolf Hitler's suicide, Grand Adm. Karl Dönitz, Nazi Germany's new president, became sole leader of the Third Reich with the suicide of Hitler's propaganda minister, Chancellor Josef Goebbels. "

And Doenitz blamed Hitler's decision for his ten-year imprisonment, after Nuremburg.

In reality, all the last "Fuhrer" of the Third Reich had left to him was writing directives that no one would ever read, in his "capitol" of Flensburg, and trying to end the war. The Allies, after years of brutal warfare, were not going to allow that to happen with any kind of dignity. At least, the kind of dignity afforded to the Japanese, in August of 1945.

Yeah, I like hsitory! Chopper, I read these every day.

  6. DB523 says:

Good morning. Winston & Ot.. we are going early this May Day. I would like to wait for chopper, I enjoy the lists, I'll have to return as I have commitments today. I must leave my house and travel directly through the center of Boston's May Day, sigh.

I am pleased to say however, that this morning in Boston is 47 degrees and a steady light rain, I am routing for gully washers later in the morning.

Courtesy of Cowboy Logic I have lately been listening to much Tom Russell. My goodness you flyovers are a melancholy bunch. Well, today I am with you all the way… My favorite this morning is The Ballad of William Sycamore….

"I could not live the day they fenced my land, broke my heart just to see it." …. yes, "they" are "fencing" our very soul's land…

    a range war is brewing…

    • Billyb9 says:

Exciting day you got there! Keep the windows rolled up and the doors locked and barrel full speed ahead!

I got an exciting day planned too. I'm going to bed.

    • LadyHawk says:

Didn't know you were Boston, too. First rain in awhile-don't have to water the sod!
      Have a great one DB…

    • chopper says:

morning DB…………you have a glorious, blessed and hallowed day………………rain or shine! 8^)

and i apologize for being a little late this morning getting our history lesson posted. ;-)

  7. NotKennedy says:

Seven months to go before the Kenyan starts out processing. Whoever the next POTUS is should initiate a new presidential environment and move the federal government OUT of DC, preferably to a decommissioned military base in the central part of the country.

    • LadyHawk says:

      Mornin' NotK!!
Ya think it's just coincidence that suburbs of DC (eg Fairfax) has more rich people per square foot than anywhere else? Gubbermint pays so good!

      • NotKennedy says:

There has always been a lot of money in the metro area, it is nearly recession proof and the jobs are overpaid. I spent 25 years in Montgomery County but Fairfax is definitely more prosperous than MOCO. Two income government families are very common in that area.

      • Red47 says:

They also have more PhDs per capita. The county I was in boasted that they the best schools in the country. When our child was in a state of the art school there, the smart people were such idiots. I am thrilled to have my child in a better school system here in the wild west.

  8. onecornpone says:

Don't wann'a hear HAPPY MAY DAY!!! I'm sure the CBC is celebrating enough for all of us.

I'm thinking how ironic it is that in America we are so addicted to celebrations, we'll even jump on the bandwagon to celebrate May Day, a day of worldwide celebration of Communism.

    WHAT a COUNTRY!!!

    • Cowboy Logic says:

      Fine.

Well wait a few days, and I'll wish you a Happy Cinco de Mayo………..

      • onecornpone says:

        :-P

        Hell, le's j'es celebrate straight through…

Stop the world and let me off,
I'm tired of goin' round and round…
        ; )

  9. LadyHawk says:

I am laughing that the liberal elite and the "great" Bryn Mawr College will be celebrating May Day by dancing around:
    The May Hole
    No.Bull. LOL

  10. tiredofit2012 says:

I thinking I'm not liking the new proposed TRICARE fees for military retirees…rather than by rank they now will go by wage tier. I'm in Tier 3. Rates go from $460 a year this year to $2048 by 2017. Ouch…and I'm on a pretty much fixed income.

    • Red47 says:

No worries. The govt breaks contracts all the time with these monsters in charge. They are forcing us into a one payer system. Your service is over and forgotten. Marxists are showing us their love.

      • chopper says:

i just love your little red booted piglet !

        • Red47 says:

There is a lot of muck out there. Add to it, the poop that is supposed to happen today and YOU had best get some waders.

  11. Cali4niaPatriot says:

There is a trend brewing among the local occupy. They are not getting the Obama message or believing in him. The Democratics are trying to herd cats. My opinion here- The only solutions left are voter fraud and/or violence.

People are thinking for themselves and its not looking good for occupy to get the subliminal message. The vote is fragmenting.

  12. Leauxryda says:

    Ahhhh, May is finally here…..

Now we get to see whether the air will once again permeate with the stench of dope, feces and forced sex amongst the occupy-turned-union/anarchist protests……

Obama is itching to use those new EO's and recently modified homeland security associated laws. Will we get to see this experiment come to fruition? Only Valerie Jarrett knows for sure……

    • Deusexmachina says:

Spring has sprung, The grass has riz. I wonder where my little troll friend is?

Probably out in the street with the rest of the Commies celebrating this day….

      • Leauxryda says:

Somehow, due to the pre-school intellect exhibited by this moron, he'll likely show up at some point in time today. Isn't even skilled enough to participate in protests much less effective conversation……

I'm sure once he's finished with his 3rd bowl of cocoroos and sponge bob squarepants episodes, he'll slither on in under a new pseudo name…..

      • LiberallHEROUSAAUSAA says:

        I’m here

so fun to cry like little babies about it.

        • Patrick Chester says:

          I'm here

so fun to cry like little babies about it.

So you come here to cry?

      • LiberallHEROUSAAUSSA says:

I know you are but what am I?

        • Patrick Chester says:

IOW, you behave like a jackass and then screech about how victimized you are when your drivel is deleted.

That would make you the pussy, really. Just an impotent little man spewing bile and whingeing when you don't get your way.

      • HERO Liberal USA says:

        I’m here everyday

        It is so fun

        Then I laugh

        • spaceracer423 says:

          we laugh when you're deleted,
then laugh even harder when you come back.

Truth be told, I sometimes feel bad about it.

You're just so pathetic that watching you get smacked around is like watching a prize fighter beat up a baby deer.
Then I remember that in your crazy head, you're winning. At that point I have mixed feelings of humor and pity.

        • Patrick Chester says:

Looks more like you're screeching incoherently with your hatred. It's all you have, really: You can't win any other way so you fling whatever you can at us, hoping it causes some pain.

Pretend you're laughing. It's obvious that it isn't genuine, just full of spite and bile-filled hatred at the icky "others" you want to destroy. Except… well, I use "impotent" to describe you for a reason, little one.

  13. ChiTownTom says:

Happy May Day. Now do your part! Find the house of a liberal and go there and demand your fair share of their stuff…

  14. AZVick says:

Over at Red State Erickson tells us that ch*cken sh** Majority Leader Cantor is using YOUR GOP donation dollars to get Dems to the Indiana polls to keep Dick Lugar in office, and keep Richard Mourdock OFF the 2012 Senate ballot. Shame.

Okay, time to begin doling out my 2012 pennies – Mourdock is the man. Lugar must go.
    http://www.redstate.com/erick/2012/04/30/eric-can...

    • Red47 says:

"…wonder if the Republican donors to the Young Guns Network know their campaign donations to a Republican group are going to aid and abet Democrat turnout in a Republican race. And I hope House conservatives know their own supposedly leader is not just using their own money to pick and choose between them in the House, but to also help Barack Obama’s favorite Senator."

Oopsie. Cantor pulled his pants down. This was too obvious, even for the establishment who has been very blatant. They republican Progs are afraid they are losing their power.

    • Oregontea says:

I have made contact with KjinAZ and he will be by in a day or so. He looked over the site and liked what he saw.

Glad to have been of service.

  15. Red47 says:

My allium is blooming. They are supposed to be JUMBO 8" blooms. They are about 3". Overpromise and underperform. The Obama way. I want to know how he got to the plant growers!

  17. Syrin23 says:

Wow, just read the threads of a true Occucrapper. No sense of how an economy works, no understanding of history, just pure rage, jealousy and greed.

Once the collapse occurs, the purging of liberalism will occur in earnest. Unfortunately, part of me welcomes that day, and that part grows daily. Welfare state after welfare state is collapsing under the weight of false liberal utopia, and there will be a great purging of liberals. They’re too blind and stupid to see what’s coming, but it will happpen.

    • Deusexmachina says:

      I feel the same way…

I'm just waiting to see the whites of their eyes….

      • Syrin23 says:

I'm not sure I can wait that long…

        • Deusexmachina says:

          Just be patient….

          They'll be along soon….

          • Hank_Scorpio says:

            Agreed.

              • Hank_Scorpio says:

Yeah brother it sure is. It's not fair, I seriously can't miss out to 100 yards (that's as far as my gun range has available). It almost takes the fun out of shooting…

Kidding, NOTHING could take the fun out of shooting….

                • Deusexmachina says:

Anything farther than that means that you can't see the expession on their faces without an unaided eye…

                • Deusexmachina says:

and what fun would that be?

                • Hank_Scorpio says:

                • Deusexmachina says:

Someday, I hope they design a round that's big and slow, so they can see the sucker coming….

                • Cowboy Logic says:

                  Wouldn't that be cool?

Something with an adjustable variable speed.
Slow it down to as slow as one foot per second.
Speed it back up to 1,888 feet per second.

We could sell advertising on it.
Have a little built in sound system making announcements.
You can run, but you'll only die tired.
                  This one's for you.
In three seconds, you will be dead………….

                • Deusexmachina says:

Yes, that would be cool indeed….

I know that the guys at DARPA are working on a .50 cal round that can be steered…

                • Hank_Scorpio says:

Something where I can paint a nice going away message for them to see….

  18. Red47 says:

Yesterday I read that the protesters were also planning a day where they intended to ridicule the Press and every conservative voice who spoke. They would be tweeting, fbing, emailing, all the usual, ridicule of whomever they decided to harass. Has anyone heard of this? Did I read it on here?

    • Hank_Scorpio says:

5 anarchists arrested in Cleveland OH for planning to blow up a bridge. Very little information yet.

    • Cowboy Logic says:

      Thanks.

    • Isn't there a certain amount of irony in anarchists working together on something?

      • Holdmynose says:

Maybe they weren't so good at working together, they got caught.

Thought you might like this…Some time back, my friend's daughter was telling me about how she lived in a commune. When I ran into her a year later I asked her how she liked communal living. She said she wasn't living there anymore, I asked why, and then she said she didn't like other people touching and using her stuff.

  20. Stephen_Brady says:

The wife and I are going shopping at Wal-Mart, primarily because the Left hates it. Fear not, my friends, we shall not buy anything stamped with "Made in China", on it. That probably means we won't buy much!

Ran into something interesting that I hadn't heard about before:
    http://www.zombietime.com/zomblog/?p=1842

Apparently, Occutards took over some agricultural area on the Berkeley campus and have basically ruined it. Of Course UCB is angry, but I find it funny – you hire communist professors that teach communism to the students and then you are angered and shocked when they do to your private property what communists and statists have always done to private property.

    You reap what you sow.
